Research interests: Teichmüller theory (especially its geometric and dynamical aspects), history of mathematics and mathematical music theory.

During his 3-month visit to Saint Petersburg in 2019-2020 professor Papadopoulos will give a lecture course “Hyperbolic surfaces, measured laminations, Teichmüller spaces and dynamics”, conduct a series of research seminars and organize a 5-day international conference on geometry and dynamics of Teichmüller spaces.
