The Salem Prize 2018 is awarded to Alexander Logunov for his breakthrough progress to the solution of the conjectures of Yau and Nadirashvili on the volumes of the zero sets of Laplacian Eigenfunctions. Alexander was a member of Chebyshev Laboratory in 2011-2017 and currently is an Assistant professor at Princeton University.
The prize, in memory of Raphael Salem, is awarded yearly to young researchers for outstanding contributions to the field of analysis.
